Nicole Minks Lash Academy

Build your skills with focused training and guidance.

Learning lash extensions takes patience, practice, and thoughtful instruction. At Nicole Minks Lash Academy, we give you space to understand the techniques, ask questions, and develop your skills with individual feedback.

Our courses separate Classic foundations from Hybrid and Volume techniques so you can focus on each stage of learning without trying to cover everything at once.

Whether you’re beginning your lash education or building on previous training, our goal is to help you understand your work and approach each application with care.

Choose your training path

Classic Lash Foundation

Two-day training for beginners

Start with the fundamentals of Classic lash extensions: applying one or more extensions to one suitable natural lash.

Through demonstrations and guided practice, you’ll learn how to prepare for a service, assess natural lashes, plan a set, and work on clean isolation and attachment.

Topics include:

  • Lash fundamentals and natural lash health

  • Consultation, sanitation, and workspace preparation

  • Lash selection and product knowledge

  • Adhesive handling and environmental conditions

  • Basic mapping and styling

  • Isolation, placement, and direction

  • Aftercare, maintenance, and removal fundamentals

You’ll begin on training materials before progressing to supervised model practice when participation requirements and skill readiness are met.

Hybrid and Volume Artistry

Two-day training for students with a Classic foundation

Build on your Classic skills with focused instruction in fan creation, attachment, and styling.

This course explores how to combine Classic and Volume techniques for Hybrid sets and create balanced Volume looks while considering natural lash suitability.

Topics include:

  • Volume lash selection and weight considerations

  • Fan structure, bases, and creation

  • Adhesive control and fan attachment

  • Hybrid blending and density

  • Mapping for natural and wispy styles

  • Application troubleshooting and aftercare

Beginners should complete Classic training first.

Complete Bundle Training

Enroll in both courses for a structured learning path from Classic foundations to Hybrid and Volume techniques.

We recommend practice time between courses so you can apply feedback and strengthen your foundation. Progression is based on demonstrated skills, rather than simply completing a set number of days.

The Training Set Up

Our classes are limited to two students, allowing time for close observation, questions, and individual correction.

You’ll watch each technique, practice it with guidance, and review your work with your instructor. We focus on controlled application and understanding before speed.

Two days of training introduces the skills. Continued practice helps you develop consistency.

Support After Training

After training, you’ll have time to practice and bring your questions back to your instructor.

Your course includes two follow-up Zoom sessions, scheduled every other week during the four weeks after you complete training. These sessions give us time to review your practice, discuss challenges, and offer feedback to guide your next steps.

Come prepared with questions and clear photos of your work so we can focus on the areas where you need support.

What's Included in Your Training

Your course includes a student manual and a professional lash kit selected for the techniques being taught.

Students who meet the course completion requirements receive a certificate of completion.

A training certificate does not replace any required professional license or permit. Completing a course also does not guarantee immediate proficiency, income, or employment.

Students interested in working with Nicole Minks may apply for available positions through our separate hiring process.
